Identified the fonts, set the type, estimated the size of the book from a scan, and recreated the wonky graphic of the hammer & sickle. Find a donor book, about 256 pages thick, about 6.25 x 9.25 inches, or make a dummy. Trim along the trim lines, or leave the left side untrimmed to wrap around the spine and back. Print on glossy or semi-gloss white or very light tan heavy paper.
There were multiple different kinds of pink hoverboards made for the film, and they vary in materials and workmanship. Here, we can see that the handlebar hole has at least two variations, and may even be missing altogether on some boards.
I’d never noticed these until my latest viewing. The senior officers have ‘parade caps’ which they almost never wear. Here we can see Dr. Petrov wearing his during the evacuation after the ‘reactor accident:’
And here are Borodin and Ramius with theirs, which appear identical with the exception of additional gold wreaths on the bill:
Note that these appear to be using the same badge as the ushankas, and the buttons holding the braid appear to be the same as the smaller Soviet naval buttons.
